Pair of landscapes
The two canvases depict two evocative views of a river landscape with figures scattered here and there and buildings in the distance. The chromatic sensitivity, the general setting of the natural elements and the type of painting lead to place the works in the context of Roman painting of the second half of the seventeenth century.
