Immaculate Conception

The proposed painting consists of a rather faithful replica, with some small variations, such as the absence of the cross in the hands of the Child, of the Immaculate Conception made by Maratti around 1660. and kept at the National Gallery of Palazzo Arnone in Cosenza.

Judging by the maturity found both in the confident drawing and in the quality of the pictorial material, it cannot be excluded that it may be a first invention that the master has submitted to the judgment of the client.
