"Furioso Gala" the Ariosto of artists
ARTISTS and writers for the 500th anniversary of Orlando Furioso. The Arcadia Auction House hosts today at 6.30 p.m. "Galà Furioso", an evening organised by "Viva, a magazine in the flesh" to celebrate the 500th anniversary of Ariosto's masterpiece.In the salon of Palazzo Celsi Viscardi, the atmosphere of a real gala will be reconstructed, where guests will be able to attend literary interventions, declamations of verses extracted from the poem or inspired by it, short concerts and theatrical sketches. And next to the salon, in the gallery frescoed by Pannini, 23 artists will exhibit their works, specially created for the occasion and inspired by Orlando Furioso: from Gianfranco Baruchello to Gregorio Botta, from Gianni Dessì to Andrea Fogli, from Felice Levini to Giuseppe Salvatori (in the photo his Fiordiligi).
