Beluch Carpet, Central Asia, 20th Century
The central field is dominated by a cross-shaped structure with motifs resembling stylized trees and architectural decorations, a reference to the spirituality and deep connection with nature typical of Beluch tribal art. The bright red background enhances the visual impact of the design, while the ivory and navy blue details create a harmonious contrast.
The side borders are adorned with repetitive stepped patterns and geometric motifs, traditionally used to symbolize protection and continuity.
