Large polychrome porcelain centerpiece basket, mid-19th century

Featuring a complex and highly scenic composition. The structure features two side-by-side basins, connected in the center by a vertical handle shaped like a plant shoot, which extends upwards to form a floral element. The entire surface is enlivened by a richly sculptural application of flowers, leaves, and buds in relief, individually modeled and applied one by one, according to a technique typical of traditional Central European ornamental ceramics. 19 x 27 x 15 cm
