Potpourri cup in enameled copper, gilt bronze and porcelain, 18th century

A cup with an enameled copper lid, featuring a dense decoration of minute floral motifs on a blue background; a perforated gilt-bronze frame is inserted between the body of the cup and the lid. The top is dominated by a figure of an oriental man, partially enameled in blue, supported by an intricate composition of branches embellished with small soft-paste roses on a gilt-bronze rocaille base, upon which rest two Meissen figures and a polychrome porcelain sheep. Minor defects. 36 x 28 x 20 cm.
