Crucifixion with Madonna and Saint John
The painting, complete with an ebonized and gilded wooden frame with carved reliefs, reproduces the famous crucifixion by Guido Reni preserved in the collection of the Duke of Northumberland (Alnwick Castel). The quality and refinement of execution suggest a link with the workshop of the Bolognese master.
