French gilt bronze and green marble clock, 19th century, from a model by Jean-Simon Deverberie (1724–1824)

in the shape of a chariot pulled by a pair of horses and guided by a figure of Cupid; enamelled dial with Roman numerals inserted in the chariot wheel, movement inserted inside the wheel; rectangular base in green marble supported by feral feet.
