with subtle amaranth inlays and gilt bronze profiles; upper part in the shape of a cushion with a rotating quadrangular top, supported by small columns joined by a top; quadrangular base on bronze shoes of oriental taste. For comparison, see the analogous table of the Parisian cabinetmaker Alphonse Giroux (Paris 1776 - 1848), known as "the merchant of the Princes", kept in the Louvre Museum in Paris.
