Scultura in legno policromo raffigurante una santa, Napoli, XVIII secolo
La figura è avvolta in ampie vesti mosse da profonde pieghe verticali e diagonali, che creano un forte effetto chiaroscurale e un dinamismo tipicamente barocco. Si distingue una tunica interna chiara, sormontata da un voluminoso manto scuro (che conserva tracce di pigmentazione blu e finiture dorate) avvolto attorno ai fianchi e al braccio sinistro; la mano destra appoggiata sul petto, in un classico gesto di devozione, mentre il braccio sinistro è proteso verso l'esterno con la mano aperta rivolta in avanti, un gesto tipico di accoglienza o di intercessione. Il volto, dai lineamenti regolari e dall'espressione raccolta con lo sguardo rivolto leggermente verso l'alto, è incorniciato da lunghi capelli scuri che ricadono sulle spalle. Sulla superficie sono visibili estese tracce della policromia e della doratura originarie, insieme ai tipici segni del tempo e della naturale usura del legno antico, che conferiscono un carattere suggestivo al manufatto storico.
