Scrivania da centro in legno intarsiato, Sicilia, seconda metà del XVIII secolo

Il piano presenta una ricca e complessa decorazione speculare strutturata in due grandi pannelli centrati ognuno da un rosone circolare con un motivo ad ombrello realizzato in legni di diverse essenze; tutt'intorno si sviluppa un ipnotico sfondo geometrico costituito da fitte linee spezzate la cui disposizione crea un effetto ottico tridimensionale. Il perimetro esterno del piano e la linea divisoria centrale sono definiti da cornici a spina di pesce, che racchiudono i due moduli decorativi. La facciata anteriore presenta un ripiano estraibile rivestito in pelle (consunta) ed un cassetto centrale affiancato da due in colonna disposti ai lati; la medesima impostazione caratterizza la facciata posteriore.
