Base architettonica per orologio da tavolo in legno scolpito, laccato e dorato, fine del XVIII secolo
La parte centrale del corpo è definita da quattro pilastri verticali che sorreggono l'architrave superiore coronato da un busto femminile; al centro un alloggio porta orologio incorniciato da una ghirlanda in rilievo; sotto la cavità del quadrante trova posto un cammeo ovale con profilo maschile, sormontato e idealmente sorretto da festoni decorativi; i lati della base si allargano verso l'esterno con due imponenti contrafforti collegati ai piedi di forma squadrata decorati da greca.
