Studio dal Fauno Rosso
Il disegno replica una scultura rinvenuta nel 1736. L'aspetto odierno della scultura si deve al restauro di Clemente Bianchi e di Bartolomeo Cavaceppi. La scultura destò l'ammirazione dei viaggiatori e dei catalogatori del museo fin dal 1746, quando fu acquistata per le collezioni capitoline.
