Lampada da terra in cocoon, struttura in metallo e base in marmo bianco, Anni '60

Lampada da terra con base rotonda in marmo bianco. La struttura metallica interna è dotata di tre sorgenti luminose. Il paralume è in polimero plastico che in forma di microfilamenti viene applicato a spruzzo su una struttura di metallo; in questo modo si forma un “bozzolo” di seta (da cui deriva il nome).
Il cocoon è stato utilizzato per la prima volta in Italia da Flos. Questo materiale plastico fu importato dall'America e fu presentato all'esposizione universale di Milano del 1959.
