Battaglia

Membro prominente della terza generazione della famiglia van Bredael di pittori di Anversa, cominciò la sua carriera con suo padre Alexander e con Jacob de Witte, specializzandosi nei soggetti equestri. Nella sua produzione, oltre a battaglie e temi militari, figurano diverse scene di caccia e alcuni mercati di cavalli. Dopo un soggiorno in Inghilterra, nel 1725 si stabilì definitivamente ad Anversa, dove Luigi XV di Francia acquistò diversi suoi dipinti di piccolo formato.
