Veduta del Tablino della Domus Aurea, già detto “Tempio della Pace”

La tela presenta significative affinità con un’acquaforte di Giovanni Battista Piranesi datata 1774, dalla quale sembra condividere l’impianto iconografico e alcuni elementi compositivi. Nella stampa, tuttavia, sviluppata in formato orizzontale, è restituita una veduta più ampia e articolata della Domus Aurea, offrendo una lettura complessiva del complesso archeologico.
