Double-body cabinet in fine wood, Lombardy, 18th century
with briar mirrors framed by cherry fillets highlighted by geometrically patterned borders in contrasting woods; upper body crowned by a broken tympanum finished with meticulously carved and gilded plant reliefs, with vases carved in the round and short cascades of buds that descend from the top along the curve of the side elements. Front decorated with shaped mirrors with floral compositions and engraved figures of Diana and Apollo, enclosed in carved and gilded wooden frames, punctuated by two doors and two drawers in line below. Lower body with a wavy line, with a cavetto band divided into two drawers and three drawers in a column with a slightly convex line; concave sides delimited by rounded edges, curved feet.
