Pair of Views of Venice
The two canvases, fragments of a pair of views, have been adapted to the size of a pair of gilded frames from the 19th century. [The excellent quality of the painting, the intelligent spirit of visual recovery of the architecture, and the flickering brushstroke lead to the positioning of the canvases in the production area of Francesco Guardi, whose evocative spirit is proposed again.
