Scuola Romana del XVII secolo

Refined still life with two assemblies of flowers collected in a bronze vase and in a terracotta tub. The sophisticated attention paid to the effects of light, which bounces off the different surfaces taking on ever-changing aspects, and the use of metallic-toned colors, suggest the hand of a skilled Flemish painter active in Rome in the second half of the seventeenth century.
