Oil painting on canvas. The work presents a variant of the famous painting by José Jiménez Aranda "The Figaro shop", preserved at the Walter Art Museum in Baltimore, with respect to which there are slight differences in the chromatic choices as well as in the dimensions. The painting, which depicts a scene of everyday life in front of a Roman workshop, strikes us for the intelligence and originality of the composition, as well as for the subtle and vibrant light effects.
