Cabinet in ebonized wood, ancient marble and semi-precious stones, Rome, 17th century
finished on the top by pinnacles in gilded bronze and resting on plinth feet, it has a facade centered by an architectural niche flanked by four drawers in a column symmetrically arranged at the sides decorated with agate jasper tiles from Sicily; the central niche, with the figure of Minerva delimited by lapis lazuli columns, conceals eight drawers of different sizes with Volterra chalcedony plaques and gilt bronze sockets in the shape of a female head. The drawer below, characterized by a molded facade, can be opened by means of a small iron lever hidden inside the last drawer at the bottom right
