Center desk with en suite armchair, Naples first half of the 19th century

the desk, supported by ebonized sculptural figures of griffins, has a top covered in leather, a molded band comprising three aligned drawers without crosspieces and two underlying ones arranged on the sides of the central compartment; the armchair with enveloping back and upper profile turned in the form of a cartouche, has a swivel seat upholstered and covered in leather, resting on three finely carved and ebonized seated lion figures, a decorative element used to support the armrests.
