Silver dessert cutlery set, Paris, silversmith Gustave Keller
composed of twelve forks and thirteen knives with silver blades in a rectangular box in adapted mahogany. Two steel blades with G.Keller Paris signature.
Head of Minerva stamp 1 (1832 - 1872); guarantee stamp and first title 950%, silversmith's stamp.
The Keller company was founded by Gustave Keller in Paris in 1856; in 1878 his sons succeeded him and produced under the name of Keller Fils et gendre successeurs. The activity will cease around 1947.
