Sacrifice of Iphigenia. Oil on canvas, 50x64.5 cm. Within golden wooden frame. The author of the painting, of Neoclassical culture and ideally close to Francesco Fernandi, seems to have been inspired by the painting by Pietro Testa - exponent of the classicist and philosophical painting of the early seventeenth century - conserved at the Galleria Spada in Rome.
