Portrait of the Turkish Pargali Ibrahim Pasha, first Grand Vizier of Suleiman the Magnificent. Oil under glass. 25x21 cm. Signed below "Filippo Santi Perugino Fece / nel ° Med [esim] ° Cristallo 1833".Within coeval frame. Filippo Santi was a painter of Perugian origin and of Roman formation, as can be seen from the many signatures made on the frescoes of the Palazzo dei Governatori in Urbania executed in 1813. Active mainly in Umbria and Marche between 1813 and 1833, the Saints it is also documented as a procacciatore of paintings and ceramics in the city of Urbino for the Pesaro noble Domenico Mazza.
