The painting can be attribuited to the Augustinian friar Nicola Levoli, a painter from Rimini with a long and consistent artistic journey in the choice of objects, based on the types of rustic table, in the organization of the scene and in the quality of execution. His pictorial corpus is close to that of the Painter of Rodolfo Lodi and of the new rationality of Carlo Magini.
