The art work shows a classical and theatrical architectural composition very close to Pietro Cappelli and Gaetano Brandi' ones, those painters dominated the artistic market of the architectural capriccio between Naples, Rome, Modena and Venice, painters well known to Antonio Joli, a specialist painter of architectural views, whims, ruins and theatrical sets.; the figures show the splendid tecnique of Gaspare Diziani, painter who worked very often with Joli in cooperation.
