Large porcelain cachepot decorated with enamels of the so-called pink family, depicting battle scenes (externally) and fish and plants (internally); Jingdezhen Chinese Manufactory (Jiangxi Province); Qing dynasty (1644-1911)the late 18th-19th century; high cm 36 diameter cm 41. The Great cachepot represents a fine example of polychrome enamel production from the 18th century and, at the same time, an example of technical skill in imitation of other materials (metal and wood). The exterior decoration, very rich and lively, depicts battles scenes from famous novels such as The Three Kingdoms novel.
