Four parade porcelain plates, three made by Giovanni Bartolomeo Guidobono

Four oval parade pocelain plates, edges decorated with the acient tecnique of "famiglia del figurato" using the white-blue vcolor scheme variously graduating color tone. The scenes depicted represent episodes linked to the history and the Bible. The first plate depict Moses' rescue by the Egyptian Princess. The scene is set in a bucolic landscape with fishmen. Visible restorations. The second plate describes the episode of Susanna and the olders. Th escene is set in a garden with a fountain and classical architectures. Thise plate is not restored. The third plate depict mythological scene of Hercules killing the Hydra monster. Anche this comes with minor chipping on bordo.The fourth plate shows the conversion of Constantine to Catholism, from Sylvester intercession occurred on Mount Soratte. On this there are small restorations and reconstructed gaps. All plates are decorated in the same way: floral spirals on the front and with leafy garlands retro. Same brand for all four: lantern used by Grosso manifature before, by Peirano since 1641. The manufacture of Guidobono used the lantern mark, in the half of the Seventeenth Century, and then by Giovan Bartolomeo (Guidobono) known as "the priest savonarese" (1654-1709), a very famous ceramics painter.
