FIVE PORCELAIN DISHES
Lot consisting of five white and blue (qinghua) porcelain dishes of different sizes and similar decorative features. China, period of the reign of Emperor Daoguang (1821-1850) the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). The dishes are not a series, but all present the same type of decoration widespread since the mid-nineteenth century. The cobalt blue marks on the bottom of each plate are tipycal of the reign of Emperor Daoguang (1821-1850). The dishes were legitimately purchased in China, as evidenced by the presence of the label and the red wax seal.
