Jacopo Vignali was a prominent Italian painter born on September 5, 1592, in Pratovecchio, Casentino, in the province of Arezzo. Primarily active in Florence, Vignali is recognized for his contribution to 17th-century painting, blending late Mannerist elements with early Baroque influences. His artistic output includes portraits, allegories, and religious works, often commissioned by notable patrons of the time. Among his well-known works are portraits of children and allegories such as Spring, Flora, and Zephyr. Vignali died in Florence in 1664, leaving a significant legacy in the Tuscan artistic scene.
