Giuseppe Chiacigh

Giuseppe Chiacigh, Italian painter, mosaicist, architect, and decorator, was born on December 28, 1895, in Vladikavkaz in the Caucasus to Italian parents who owned a commercial enterprise in Russia, always retaining Italian citizenship. He completed his Scientific Lycée in 1913 and attended the Institute of Fine Arts in Kazan until 1915, graduating in painting. His artistic training led him to specialize in various fields, including mural decoration with frescoes, mosaics, and artistic stained glass, as well as designing villas and churches.
